The paradoxical reality of Electric Process demonstrates how everything is both itself and something else, a figure perceived against a complex ground. We explore these communications ideas as styles of perception and not as fixed notions proceeding from concepts and theories.

Interests and Expertise:

Frank Zingrone is a media critic, poet and cultural historian, who works with the communication ideas of Marshall McLuhan and Harold Innis, by building new ideas on their pioneering bases.  He works in the intellectual environment characterized by many of the following scholars who epitomize the mergence of the arts and sciences under electric conditions.  The new work involves Chaos and Complexity Theory, the Philosophy of Science and Technology:
